Welcome to the Arrow Riding Centre for young people and adults with special needs. We are a friendly, volunteer based charity located in Dartford, Kent. Our team of qualified coaches work with our physiotherapists to develop tailor-made programmes for each of our riders, helping them to unlock their potential on and off the horse.

Have a browse through the website to have a look at what we have to offer, how you can help us and much more!

Thank you to the Alburys Charitable Foundation

We have recently had The Alburys Charitable Foundation provide a grant for Arrow which was used to purchase our lovely Bertie and new Riding hats…

“The contribution from The Alburys Charitable Foundation enabled us to purchase our new pony ‘Bertie’. We sadly lost our elderly pony Sam in September who taught and provided physio to our smaller, younger riders. Bertie has become an Arrow favourite and is doing a fantastic job with his little riders, carrying on what Sam started with them – but with a little more speed! Pictured below is Bertie with two of his weekly riders, Jessica who has Cerebral Palsy and Flynn who has small stature and multiple disabilities; both aged 6. The grant also enabled us to replace 47 riding hats due to changes in industry safety standards. Without the riding hats we are unable to provide any sort of riding or stable management lessons – which Jessica below is proudly modelling!”

A big thank you to The Alburys Charitable Foundation!
